New Zealand Extracts produces high quality powder extracts from raw materials, such as fruits, berries and grape seeds. These extracts are suitable for use in applications such as functional foods, dietary supplements and cosmetics.
The company is based in Marlborough, one of New Zealand’s top wine making regions, they make the most of their location by producing extracts from locally grown sauvignon blanc grape seeds.
New Zealand Extracts Oxifend® products all contain high levels of antioxidants, which have scientifically proven health benefits and can defend cells from oxidative stress. Their range of Oxi-Fend® antioxidant extracts includes Vinanza® (grape seed extract), Beranza® (boysenberry extract), Curanza® (blackcurrant extract) and Kiwanza® (kiwifruit extract). All of these extracts are produced using a water-based process that retains the antioxidant activity and avoids the use of harsh solvents.
The antioxidant activity of Oxifend® products is tested by independent laboratories.
Recent projects
