NZBIO
NZBIO is New Zealand’s national life sciences industry organisation. Its mission is to help create a sustainable bioeconomy in New Zealand.
Established in 2003, NZBIO represents a broad membership spanning agbiotech, industrial biotech, human health, animal health, medical devices and environmental biotechnology organisations. NZBIO brings an integrated approach to industry development and advocacy.
Based in Wellington, NZBIO has Regional Managers in Auckland, Dunedin, Hamilton, Christchurch and Palmerston North.
NZBIO represents approximately 270 individual and corporate members from across New Zealand’s life sciences industries.
NZBIO is a member of BioNet Asia Pacific, a virtual marketplace made up of 11 industry associations where registered users can establish business opportunities and partnerships. NZBIO also works closely with AusBiotech, the Australian biotechnology industry organisation.
