Comvita produces a large range of healthcare products using natural ingredients that are primarily sourced from New Zealand.
Comvita’s natural ingredients
Comvita specialises in bee-based products and uses natural ingredients such as Mānuka honey, pollen, propolis and Royal Jelly to make products for health and well-being.
In addition, Comvita uses other New Zealand natural ingredients, such as colostrum, Echinacea, kiwifruit and olive leaf.
Recent projects
Comvita has developed a new range of woundcare products using honey made from New Zealand’s Mānuka trees. These products have been medically tested and can be used to treat minor cuts, burns, stings, infected wounds and chronic wounds such as leg ulcers, post-surgical wounds, serious burns, and wounds that are resistant to antibiotic treatment.
